On Thursday 26th May Year 5 held an Egyptian Day. We did many themed activities such as making death masks, singing, making clay amulets in the shape of an eagle. We got to sample Egyptian food including grapes, pitta,
olives, figs and dates. We even travelled back in time to explore their culture.
We all enjoyed dressing up and even the teachers did too! We wore Egyptian styled dresses, makeup and jewellery.
A big thank you to Tesco Aldershot who donated all the food for the children to eat!
