Today has been Values Day at Walsh Junior, and has been a really enjoyable and thought provoking day for the children. Children have worked in mixed class/age groups throughout the day, taking part in four workshops linked to our school values.
We focussed in particular on courage, fairness, belonging and kindness—all of which we feel are important at our school. In collective worship this morning we
focussed on forgiveness and how that is important in school relationships. We will continue to focus on our values throughout the year.
Children all considered how they have the “power” to make our school a happy and friendly place by considering their interactions with each other. Each kind
action and word makes our school a better place for all! We will continue this theme with the children throughout the term.
