This week has been maths week where we have been thinking about ‘Maths on the go!’ The children have enthusiastically participated in a range of activities across the school including symmetrical dancing, sprinting and working out average times, planning holidays with a given budget and many more! On top of this there has been a mathematical treasure hunt around the school and Number Ninja’s competitions. The children have thoroughly enjoyed the week and have learnt a lot.
“My favourite part was writing sums for our partners, it was really fun and exciting racing to answer the sums!” (Mason S, Drake Class)
“I enjoyed all of it because it was challenging and fun!” (Holly R, Lloyd Webber Class)
“My favourite activity during maths week was when we went to
Mrs Boyce’s classroom because it was linked to real-life and it
certainly was maths on the go!” (Tyler B, Shakespeare Class)
